Merlyn Industries Ltd launches spellbinding Smoked Black Glass option
Merlyn, already synonymous with black, have delivered a new model to enhance their reputation still further: The seductive Series 10 Sliding Door with the choice of irresistible smoked black glass (image attached). The appeal of the dark tinted glass is in its glamour and charm; delivering a dichotomy of "stylish bling"! Conveniently this model comes in sizes up to 1600mm. The new Series 10 is an exclusive choice, combining classic elegance, style and quality – totally without compromise.

We now have a product to suit every price and style point; from entry level to high end bespoke, from traditional to ultra modern. The Merlyn ‘badge’ of quality and service will be standard across our offerings, whether the enclosure costs £300 or £3000. Series 10 also includes the iconic 1 Door Offset Quadrant (attached) with 10 mm toughened glass (standard across the range) and tray sizes up to a generous 1200mm. The curves of this enclosure are enhanced by the polished chrome finish, creating a classically flawless look.
The Series 10 range comes with the new Merlyn glass protection, Mershield, as standard. Mershield is a hydrophobic coating that protects glass and glass-like surfaces. The Mershield coating makes the shower glass extremely ‘easy to clean’ as it precludes the accumulation of lime scale and soap residue.
Where Mershield protective coating is not supplied as standard, the Merlyn Mershield Cleaning Kit can be applied; a professional procedure to clean, restore and protect Merlyn shower glass, which can also be used to freshen mirrors and shower trays. The three-step system removes hard water scale and soap deposits, forming a ‘clear invisible mershield’ on the glass, and effectively disinfects the glass for improved hygiene.
In June Merlyn will begin the exciting task of showcasing the new ranges which in addition to Series 10 also include 9, 8, 6, 4, 2 and a high end bespoke range called DeZign.
