Merlyn: Supplier of choice
The customer satisfaction survey, undertaken on behalf of Merlyn Industries UK Ltd by Peopleworks Consultancy Ltd last month (September 07) makes for interesting reading.
PC Ltd approached the 40 Merlyn customers anonymously in a bid to gauge true levels of customer satisfaction. Customers were asked their opinion on various service delivery issues, among them product choice, quality, delivery and after-sales service.
Merlyn were named the supplier of choice in every area, most notably in after-sales care with 58% of the vote. Seventeen shower enclosure companies were used as reference points in this qualitative survey.
Dana Davies, Merlyn’s Managing Director says, "We are obviously delighted to see the results of this survey. Too often companies are reluctant to approach the parapet let alone stick their head above it. Keeping with this metaphor we knew we could have been shot down in flames but instead can hold our heads up very high! The results clearly reflect our customer care ethos, which is becoming part of our corporate brand responsibility. It is a team effort, of which all our employees can be justly proud".
